Qualifications

• BSCE/BSME/BSEE from ABET-accredited program required.
• EIT certification required.
• 3–6 years of progressive transmission line design experience.
• Experience with transmission design software including PLS-CADD and related applications.
• Working knowledge of NESC requirements and utility design standards.]
• Ability to independently perform engineering calculations and develop complete design packages.
• Strong communication, organization, and project coordination skills.
• Pursuing Professional Engineer licensure.

Responsibilities

As a Transmission Engineer III/IV, you will independently perform the design, analysis, and implementation of transmission line projects to ensure safe and reliable power delivery. You will apply advanced engineering principles to develop conceptual, preliminary, and final designs while coordinating with project teams, clients, and contractors.In this role, you will take increasing ownership of project deliverables, provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers, and contribute to project planning and execution.
