AES is seeking a Construction Coordinator to coordinate and manage all aspects of transmission and distribution construction projects. This role demands strong organization and communication skills and responsibility for project completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or relevant discipline required.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills required.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred in Transmission Construction Work or Oversight/Supervision of Transmission projects.
• Language: English required.
• Computer Skills: Microsoft Office required; SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates facets of work required to complete construction projects including materials, outage requests and follow up engineering review and redline documentation
• Work with other departments to ensure all easements and permits are obtained and current for construction schedule and relevant payments have been received
• Resolve and investigate customer and contractor issues as they arise
• Ensures contractor compliance with EHS through onsite inspections, safety walks, job audits and learning opportunities
• Promotes a positive, interactive safety culture
• Participates on a storm team and supports storm team operations as needed
