Job summary

A leading infrastructure solutions company is looking for a Designer - Transmission to work on design aspects of transmission line projects. The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree in Drafting & Design and at least 2 years of experience in the electric utility industry. Familiarity with 3D design software and CADD programs is essential. This is a full-time entry-level position based in Portland, Oregon.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in electric utility industry for high voltage transmission line projects.
• Experience in civil/structural or transmission design is strongly preferred.
• Basic knowledge of transmission line components.

Responsibilities

• Work on design aspects from project inception to completion on various transmission line projects.
• Utilize 3D design software for transmission line design.
• Demonstrate knowledge of quality control procedures.
