Job summary

Eagle Transmission West Plano in Plano, TX is seeking a skilled Transmission Builder to join our team. This hands-on role focuses on disassembly, inspection, rebuilding and reassembly of automatic and manual transmissions, with emphasis on precision and quality workmanship.

You will diagnose failures, measure parts with micrometers and calipers, read schematics, and document procedures in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in transmission rebuilding or drivetrain repair.
• Strong knowledge of automatic and manual transmission systems.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship.
• ASE certification or equivalent experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Replace seals, gaskets, clutch packs, bands, and other internal components as needed
