Wycliffe Associates is working on Bible translation projects for deaf and blind individuals worldwide, using the SUN (Symbolic Universal Notation) system, a symbol-based writing system that provides immediate access to Scripture for the deaf and deaf-blind.

We seek native or bilingual Bahasa Indonesia speakers to translate an English training manual into Bahasa Indonesia. The manuals will be used for teachers of the deaf and blind in Bahasa Indonesia-speaking regions. Basic computer skills, fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, and familiarity with Word and Excel are required. The work is remote, requiring about 10-12 hours weekly, and can be completed from home. The manual is 26 pages, and we hope you can serve until the project concludes, which may take a few months. This is a volunteer opportunity to help bring the Gospel to the blind and deaf through your language skills.
