Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC in Tennessee seeks a translator to translate conversations, meetings, forms and policies between English and other languages, and to train employees in their native language.

You will assist HR, QA and production, document trainings, support interviews and orientation, and help ensure safety, food quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum one year experience translating from English to other language and back; multiple languages preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office to manage data and create reports.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization through effective verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and extended shift hours.
  • Follow safety policies and wear PPE as required.

Responsibilities

  • Translate conversations, meetings, forms, policies and procedures from one language to another to facilitate understanding and safety.
  • Assist HR, QA, and production by training non-English speaking employees in processes in their native language; document training.
  • Assist with interviews and new hire orientation translating questions, answers and presentations as needed.
  • Adhere to safe work practices and maintain sanitary conditions to ensure product quality; report any condition affecting food safety or quality.
  • Work in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Primarily responsible for translating conversations, meetings, forms, policies etc. from one language to another. Train employees in native language.
