Job summary

City of Hope is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow or Staff Scientist to join our translational prostate cancer program. The role involves designing and executing rigorous in vivo and in vitro experiments, leading research projects, and presenting data at meetings and conferences.

The successful candidate will contribute to manuscript preparation, collaborate with clinicians and computational scientists, and maintain well‑organized documentation in a multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• PhD in cancer biology, immunology, molecular biology, or related biomedical science.
• Strong hands-on experience with in-vivo mouse tumor models.
• Demonstrated record of scientific productivity through peer-reviewed publications.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative research environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and optimize in vivo and in vitro experiments related to prostate cancer biology.
• Lead or contribute to independent and collaborative research projects.
• Analyze, interpret, and present data at meetings and conferences.
• Contribute to manuscript preparation, publications, and grant activities.
• Collaborate with clinicians, computational scientists, and core facilities.
• Maintain compliant research documentation.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and input across projects (Staff Scientist).
