Job summary

Mount Sinai Morningside invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Translational Biomedical Sciences. Qualifications

• PhD or MD-PhD in Neuroscience, or a related discipline in the biomedical sciences.
• Strong background in statistics and data analysis.
• Experience breeding transgenic mouse lines and handling rodents.
• Prior history of sustained research productivity.
• Experience working in at least one of the organ systems of interest (brain, liver, bone, adipose, immune).
• No prior postdoctoral training.

Responsibilities

• Mentored by Dr. Ki Goosens to develop an independent research plan.
• Study hypothalamic and pituitary hormones in mouse models of Down Syndrome across multiple organ systems.
• Present work regularly at local Sinai events and scientific conferences.
