Under the supervision of Dr. Xiao-Jing Wang, the successful candidate will apply molecular, cellular, histopathologic, and immune-profiling approaches, aim for scientific independence, and collaborate across UC Davis.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree (PhD, DDS, MD, or equivalent) required in biomedical sciences or related field.
• Experience with inflammation, wound healing, epithelial biology, immunology, cancer biology, or translational research.
• Ability to design experiments, analyze data, interpret results, and present findings.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct translational studies on skin and mucosal inflammation and tumor immunity.
• Establish relevant cell-based and animal models and perform molecular and immune-profiling analyses.
• Maintain records, analyze data, and prepare figures and reports; ensure rigor and reproducibility.
• Lead scholarly products, present findings, and contribute to funding applications.
