Responsibilities
  • Perform repairs and maintenance as outlined on repair orders, with efficiency and accuracy, following dealership and factory standards.
  • Diagnose vehicle issues and perform repairs, with dealership approval.
  • Coordinate with parts department for parts availability.
  • Tag and save parts under warranty or upon customer request.
  • Assess vehicles for additional safety or service needs.
  • Inform service advisors of additional work or delays.
  • Document all work performed accurately.
  • Road test vehicles to ensure quality and cleanliness.
  • Stay updated with factory bulletins and training.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and handle tools responsibly.
  • Comply with safety and environmental regulations, including OSHA standards.
  • Wear appropriate PPE, including safety glasses, always prioritizing safety.
  • Work collaboratively or independently as needed.
  • Wear dealership uniforms.
Qualifications
  • Military veterans with maintenance, technician, or mechanic experience, with proof of technical training and job designation from military schooling in fields such as mechanical, aviation, electrical, or hydraulic systems.
  • Or completion of an accredited automotive technology program from a recognized vocational school or college.
