Qualifications

Transitional Leader - Director of Nursing (RN)

We are seeking a Transitional Leader – Director of Nursing Services responsible for providing coverage, stabilization, and progression of the business plan during vacancies and onboarding of new leaders.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee nursing staff to ensure quality, appropriate resident/patient care meeting or exceeding standards
  • Assist in preparing and monitoring the annual budget for the living center
  • Conduct rounds to evaluate quality of nursing care
  • Maintain proper charting, documentation of care, medications, and treatments
  • Evaluate residents to determine appropriate level of care
  • Communicate regularly with the Medical Director to identify educational needs and ensure quality care
  • Manage clinical aspects of state or federal survey processes
  • A full job description will be provided during the interview process upon request
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing school
  • Current RN license in the assigned state
  • At least five years of management or supervisory experience in long-term or acute care
  • Restorative or geriatric nursing experience preferred
  • Proven leadership and performance management skills
  • Ability to travel within Indiana, including overnight and extended stays
  • Regular attendance capability
