Qualifications

  • Minimum five years of management or supervisory experience in long-term or acute care.
  • Restorative or geriatric nursing experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel within Indiana, including overnight and extended stays.

We are seeking a Transitional Leader – Director of Nursing Services responsible for providing coverage, stabilization, and progression of the business plan during vacancies and onboarding of new leaders.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee nursing staff to ensure quality resident/patient care meeting or exceeding standards
  • Assist in preparing and monitoring the annual budget for the center
  • Perform rounds to evaluate the quality of nursing care
  • Maintain proper documentation of care, medications, and treatments
  • Evaluate residents to determine appropriate care levels
  • Communicate regularly with the Medical Director to identify educational needs and ensure quality care
  • Manage clinical aspects of survey processes

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing school
  • Current RN license in the assigned state
  • Minimum five years of management or supervisory experience in long-term or acute care
  • Restorative or geriatric nursing experience preferred
  • Proven leadership and performance management skills
  • Ability to travel within Indiana, including overnight and extended stays
  • Regular attendance is required
