Responsibilities
  • Oversees the nursing staff to ensure quality and appropriate resident/patient care that meets or exceeds company and regulatory standards.
  • Assists in preparing the annual budget for the living center and monitors monthly performance, intervening as needed.
  • Schedules and performs rounds to evaluate the quality of nursing care.
  • Maintains administrative authority and responsibility for proper charting, documentation of care, medications, and treatments.
  • Evaluates residents and patients to determine and maintain appropriate care levels.
  • Communicates regularly with the Medical Director to identify educational needs and ensure quality care.
  • Manages clinical aspects of state or federal survey processes.
  • A comprehensive job description will be provided during the interview process upon request.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
  • Current RN license in the assigned state.
  • Minimum five (5) years of management or supervisory experience in long-term or acute care.
  • Restorative or geriatric nursing experience preferred.
  • Proven leadership and performance management skills.
  • Ability to travel within Indiana, including overnight stays.
  • Must maintain regular attendance.
