We have transformed lives by providing shelter and support services to over 60,000 individuals affected by domestic violence. Our services include shelter, education, research, and advocacy aimed at ending domestic violence.

Job Summary

Provides support and resources for women and families fleeing domestic violence through case management focused on safety, self-sufficiency, and education. Facilitates classes on-site and manages an assigned caseload.

Schedule

May require evening and/or weekend work as needed.

Positions Available

1 (Monday - Thursday; Four 10-hour shifts)

Rate of Pay

$21.00/hr. (after passing bilingual assessment)

Essential Functions
  1. Responds effectively to impacts of domestic violence and trauma using appropriate assessments and evidence-based practices.
  2. Provides ongoing case management, utilizing a strengths-based approach to coordinate services and support recovery.
  3. Engages residents in identifying, planning, and advocating for resources and services to address trauma impacts.
  4. Conducts assessments, determines eligibility, develops service plans, and monitors client engagement.
  5. Builds professional relationships with staff and residents, maintaining boundaries and supporting residents’ problem-solving and coping skills.
  6. Links residents with supportive systems and resources, working within a social-ecological framework.
  7. Coordinates with various programs and resources, respecting cultural contexts.
  8. Assesses and monitors resident progress, including medication management.
  9. Responds to crises with appropriate intervention and culturally competent practices.
  10. Maintains the campus and equipment.
  11. Documents activities clearly and in accordance with policies.
  12. Develops and implements service and individual development plans, facilitating classes and support groups.
  13. May include individual or group counseling.
  14. Performs other duties as assigned.
  15. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience; experience in family violence programs preferred.
  16. Ability to obtain a Level I Fingerprint Clearance Card, CPR, and First Aid certification.
  17. Valid Arizona Driver License, proof of insurance, and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
  18. Bi-lingual Spanish-English required; language assessment will be administered.
