Enfield Public Schools seeks a dedicated Special Education Educator for the R.I.S.E. Transition Program at Enfield High School.

The role focuses on providing direct instructional, behavioral, and transitional support to students reintegrating into the general education setting. The candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary staff, families, and students to ensure individualized, developmentally appropriate transition planning and data-informed progress monitoring.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid Connecticut teaching certification in Special Education.
• 165 Comprehensive Special Education, PreK–12.
• Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Experience working with students with diverse needs is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver specialized instruction aligned to students' IEP goals for reintegration.
• Support transitions into general education classrooms with progress monitoring.
• Implement evidence-based practices promoting self-regulation, executive functioning, social skills, and academic readiness.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure accommodations and inclusive practices.
• Maintain documentation, progress monitoring, and data-informed decisions for transition planning.
• Foster a supportive, strengths-based environment reflecting the R.I.S.E. values.
