Job summary

Aspire of WNY is seeking Transition Associates to teach vocational skills and work readiness to middle and high school students and young adults in the community. This role partners with ACCES-VR and requires clear communication, an outgoing personality, and a desire to make a difference in lives.

We offer both full-time and part-time positions. Responsibilities include teaching job readiness, coordinating with schools, and supporting participants toward independent living and successful

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Human Services or related field.
• One year of experience working with students with disabilities; preferably in job training.
• Valid NYS Driver's License.

Aspire is currently looking for Transition Associates. We have both full time and part time positions available. Work in an EXCITING and MEANINGUL field teaching high school students vocational skills.

Responsibilities include working with middle and high school students and young adults; teaching them vocational and work readiness skills in the community. This position works with Adult Career Continuing Education Services - Vocational Rehabilitation (ACCES-VR). We are looking for someone with strong communication and interpersonal skills, an outgoing personality and a desire to make a difference in the life of others.

Requirements:

• Associates degree in Human Services or related field
• One (1) year applicable experience working with students with disabilities; preferably in job training and employment settings
• Valid NYS Driver's License
