Transit in Albuquerque seeks a Service Technician to clean, service and perform minor maintenance on a fleet of gasoline and diesel vehicles; you will also maintain vehicle service records and support the shop with general maintenance tasks.
This safety-sensitive role requires a valid New Mexico driver's license, COP and CDL-B with P endorsement within six weeks, plus ability to lift and work in a busy transit yard; training will be provided.
Service, clean and perform minor maintenance on motor vehicles in support of mechanics; clean and maintain work area and maintain vehicle service records and perform a variety of other tasks related to area of assignment.
This is a safety sensitive position subject to random drug/alcohol testing.

High School Diploma or GED
(30) credit hours vocational training in mechanical repair or general mechanical maintenance experience is preferred.
Shop environment; exposure to noise, dust, grease, smoke, fumes, gases, cleaning chemicals and heavy construction equipment. Exposure to outdoor elements such as sun, rain, snow, wind etc.
Essential and supplemental functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for light to heavy lifting and carrying; bending; stooping,; kneeling; crawling; standing for prolonged periods; and operating motorized equipment and vehicles.
