Job summary

Keolis is seeking a Manager Training & Compliance role in the BRTA area to design, implement, and oversee training programs for transit operators and staff. You will ensure regulatory compliance, lead safety initiatives, and manage onboarding/certification processes within a dynamic, safety-focused environment.

The role requires TSI trainer certification, MA CDL Class B with endorsements, and prior progressive transit experience.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified Transportation Safety Institute (TSI) bus operator trainer.
• Must have MA CDL Class B with Passenger and Airbrakes endorsements.
• Must have at least 3 years progressive transit experience with class B vehicles in a fixed route transit system.
• Knowledgeable with DOT policies, OSHA, NIMS, EPA standards and ADA requirements.
• Experience developing and implementing safety program plans and procedures; conducting investigations, analyzing data, and identifying and recommending corrective action.
• Must maintain confidentiality and safeguarding of sensitive material.
• Conducting oral presentations, relaying technical information in understandable terms.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a diverse workforce.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and evaluate comprehensive training programs for transit operators, maintenance personnel, and supervisory staff.
• Ensure all training meets regulatory requirements (FTA, DOT, state agencies) and organizational standards.
• Oversee onboarding, certification, and recertification programs.
• Lead monthly in service meetings and safety committee meetings.
• Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, audits, and performance metrics.
• Develop and track KPIs related to training effectiveness and compliance.
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership and regulatory agencies.
