Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) invites students to join a summer internship program across Application Development, IT Operations, and Project Management. Interns gain hands-on experience with dashboards, workflows, public safety IT, and project coordination in a training environment.

Assignments are temporary (up to 13 weeks) and may rotate across departments based on major and needs, supervised by executives or designees.

Qualifikationen

• Graduation from high school or equivalent; must be attending an accredited college/university.
• Intern must be aligned with program requirements and major.
• Must have completed freshman year and be entering sophomore year.
• Intern must maintain a minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA.
• Favorable performance in prior summer (if applicable).

• Assist in compiling, reviewing and analyzing data for reports.
• Research data for management, operations, and admin reports.
• Produce tangible work products (presentations, reports, data visuals).
• Attend trainings and participate in departmental meetings.
• Support cross‑functional teams and project activities.
