Job summary

Stacy Witbeck’s Modern Railway Systems division is seeking a Transit Construction Project Engineer to support our Texas region in Austin. You will lead transit systems projects, coordinate field teams, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with contract documents and safety standards.

Ideal candidates bring 2–6 years’ transit rail experience, strong communication and scheduling capabilities, and the ability to travel as required.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of experience as a Field or Project Engineer on transit rail projects.
• Understanding of conventional project management controls.
• Proficiency in scheduling, PDF Editors, MS Office Suites, Teams.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License in good standing.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to travel for project needs, corporate events and training.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned transit systems projects through planning, execution, and closeout.
• Coordinate field personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to deliver projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with contract requirements.
