Delaware River Port Authority and PATCO seek college students for the 2027 summer internship program in Transit Services - PATCO. The internship is based in Lindenwold, NJ, with 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM hours, 40 hours per week, for the 10-week period, including a paid lunch hour.

Qualificações

• Basic exposure to reading and analyzing information (coursework, projects, case studies, or research assignments).
• Ability to write clearly and thoughtfully, with guidance and feedback.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks accurately.
• Openness to learning new concepts, tools, and processes throughout the internship.

Responsabilidades

• Passenger Counts/Traffic Checks.
• Digitize handwritten data/reports.
• Attend various departmental meetings.
• Perform statistical analyses of passengers.
• Employee File and Paperwork Organization.
• Participate in any ongoing departmental activities/training.
• Gain experience by overseeing operations at PATCO Center Tower.
• Assist the Technical Supervisor, Transit Services in departmental/organizational improvements.
• Learn the rules of the railroad and procedures of Center Tower operations.
