PalAmerican Security is seeking a Transit Security Officer for a full-time schedule with weekend and weekday shifts in Bellevue, WA. The role emphasizes public interactions, safety, and high-quality customer service.

Successful candidates will complete a mandatory 5-day paid training in Renton and will benefit from medical, dental, vision, and life insurance options. This position focuses on protecting staff and visitors while maintaining a strong security presence.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Minimum 2 years security or military experience.
• Valid WA driver's license with clean driving record.
• Proof of HS diploma, GED, or higher education.
• Possess a valid Washington State Security License.

Responsibilities

• Walk and stand for prolonged periods.
• Wear body armor, duty belt with handcuffs, radio, flashlight, and first aid kit.
• Interact with the public in frequent face-to-face encounters.
• Write detailed and accurate incident reports.
• Maintain a visible deterrent to unlawful activity.
• Ensure safety and security of site staff and visitors.
• Respond to escalations with empathy and professionalism.
• Provide excellent customer care to support the PalAmerican experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain a physical presence as a deterrent to illegal activity
• Ensure safety and security of site staff and visitors
• Provide empathetic approach to managing escalated situations
• Contribute to the overall experience by providing superior customer care

Requirements:

• Are at least 21 years of age
• Have a minimum of 2 years Security or Military experience
• Have a valid WA STATE driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Are able to provide proof of High School diploma, GED or higher education
• Possess a valid Washington State Security License

• Have effective verbal and written communication skills
