Job summary

PalAmerican Security is seeking a Transit Security Officer to protect and serve our communities on transit sites. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of security or military experience and a valid driver’s license with a clean record.

You will perform detailed incident reporting and maintain a visible presence to deter unsafe activity while delivering excellent customer service. The role emphasizes empathy in escalated situations, written communication, and working with the public to ensure

What you will do

• Walk and stand for prolonged periods of time
• Wear body armor, duty belt with handcuffs, baton, radio, flashlight, and first aid kit
• Engage in high volume face-to-face public interactions
• Write detailed and accurate reports on incidents
• Maintain a physical presence as a deterrent to illegal activity
• Ensure safety and security of site staff and visitors
• Provide empathetic approach to managing escalated situations
• Contribute to the overall experience by providing superior customer care

You will be a great fit if you

• Are at least 21 years of age
• Have a minimum of 2 years' Security or Military experience
• Have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Are able to provide proof of High School diploma, GED or higher education.
