The Transit Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and scheduling daily transportation services for a public transit system operating under GDOT and FTA guidelines. This position ensures efficient route scheduling, driver assignments, vehicle utilization, and customer service support while maintaining compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational requirements. The Scheduler serves as a critical communication link between dispatch, drivers, management, maintenance, and passengers to ensure safe, reliable, and on-time transportation services.
