Job summary

GoTriangle is looking for motivated individuals to fill the Transit Operator position starting June 15th, 2026. As a Transit Operator, you will ensure safe transportation across the Triangle region, providing excellent customer service.

The position starts at a competitive pay of $20.64 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, retirement benefits, and opportunities for career advancement.

You will participate in a 6-8 week paid training program, focusing on essential transit operations and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Be able to obtain a CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement and maintain a valid DOT Medical Card.
• Possess a good driving record for the past six (6) years.
• Successfully pass a drug screening and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating assigned transit vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws.
• Completing required documentation, including manifests and inspections.
• Providing excellent customer service by assisting passengers courteously.
