GoTriangle in Morrisville, NC is hiring Transit Operators for an October 5, 2026 start class. This role focuses on safely transporting passengers with superior customer service while adhering to safety standards.

The position includes a paid 6-8 week training program covering CDL Class B prep, defensive driving, route/fare training, ADA compliance, and hands-on behind-the-wheel experience. Starting pay is $20.64/hr with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement required.
• Maintain a valid DOT Medical Card.
• Good driving record for the past six years.
• Successfully pass a drug screening and criminal background check.
• Ability to operate vehicles safely in all weather.
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate transit vehicles in compliance with traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Complete manifests, pre-trip and post-trip inspections, accident reports, and other forms.
• Follow dispatch instructions and manage pickups/drop-offs efficiently.
• Provide courteous, professional customer service to passengers.
• Answer questions about routes, fares, and eligibility.
• Assist passengers with mobility or accessibility needs.
• Attend and complete required training programs.
• Maintain knowledge of routes and federal transit requirements.
• Fuel, clean, and maintain vehicles as needed.
• Work split shifts as operational needs require.
