RydeTrans is seeking a skilled Mechanic to diagnose, rebuild, and repair a range of vehicles and equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, document inspections, and provide road service as required to keep operations running smoothly.

The role emphasizes adherence to safety standards, certification considerations (ASE preferred), and collaboration with fleet attendants in a dynamic maintenance environment. This is a full-time, non-exempt position based in Stockton, CA.

Competenze

• 2 years or more verifiable experience in vehicle/construction equipment repair and maintenance.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s license for the local fleet type.
• ASE Master Technician certification preferred.

Mansioni

• Diagnose, rebuild, and repair vehicles and equipment.
• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
• Prepare and maintain records and reports (e.g., daily vehicle inspections).
• Provide on-road service and assist fleet attendants as needed.
• Ensure PMs are performed according to state and federal standards.
• May act as lead person in the supervisor’s absence.
• Follow company contract requirements and OSHA safety rules.
• Repair vehicles involved in accidents as needed.
