Job summary

The City of Greeley is seeking a Maintenance Service Attendant to support the safe, clean, and reliable operation of the transit fleet. Primary duties include washing and detailing buses, fueling, and basic maintenance assistance.

Hardware and facility upkeep are also part of the role, with opportunities to support mechanics and respond to emergencies, weather events, and service disruptions as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 1 year vehicle maintenance or related experience.
• BBP training within 3 months of employment.
• CDL B with Passenger Endorsement or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Knowledge of basic mechanical repair of vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, and detail interior and exterior of buses and fleet vehicles.
• Fuel buses and perform fueling activities per safety procedures.
• Assist mechanics with preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Transport and relocate buses and fleet vehicles as needed.
• Maintain accurate service, inspections, and fueling records.
• Respond to emergencies and severe weather to support operations.
