Job summary

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority is seeking a Staff Analyst Trainee II to assist in obtaining running time and ridership data, analyze it, and propose service revision plans under the guidance of a Senior Manager. This role supports planning, scheduling, and development of the transit network and offers exposure to a dynamic urban transportation environment.

Responsibilities include data collection from Operations Planning sources, analytical review, and collaboration with scheduling

Qualifications

• A Baccalaureate degree in a related field from an accredited college.

• Assist to obtain running time and ridership data from Operations Planning’s various application and other authorized sources, analyze this data, and recommend service revision plans based on the results of the analysis.
• Assisting with providing technical assistance in the planning, scheduling and development of the transit network.
