Job summary

TSMG Holding in New York seeks a Mapping City/Country Expert to lead country-specific transit data initiatives. You will develop and maintain transit data pipelines, establish ground truth, and act as the consultant for transit and micro-mobility projects.

Collaborating with internal teams and external partners, you will apply local transit policies, review data quality, perform in-city field research, and help shape data models and product improvements.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience required.
• Graduate or equivalent experience.
• Good communication in English and local language.
• Basic data analytics and technical writing skills.
• Deep knowledge of city/country transit/traffic networks.
• GTFS knowledge is a plus.
• GIS mapping tools and programming basics (Java/C#/C++/Python).
• Adaptable to a rapidly changing environment.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with internal stakeholder teams and external companies to achieve project goals.
• Provide input to create city/country specific policy for transit related issues.
• Consult on urban transit systems and multi-modal (including micro-mobility).
• Review mapping operations issues for quality checks in specific cities/countries.
• Serve as country/Regional Transit POC for internal and external teams.
• Document and analyze information needs to improve products for clients.
