Job summary

Hirani Engineering and Land Surveying, D.P.C. is seeking a dedicated Inspector to join the team at Poughkeepsie Metro-North Station. The successful candidate will conduct inspections, ensure compliance with construction contracts, and assist in project oversight for the Small Business Mentoring Program.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in construction inspection, preferably in roadway or transit projects.
• Familiarity with MTA C&D standards and construction contract documents.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and inspection procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily surveillance and inspections to ensure compliance with construction documents.
• Prepare detailed daily inspection reports for MTA C&D.
• Monitor 6-week look-ahead schedules and identify potential risks.
