Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 21 years old with valid CDL with Passenger Endorsement.
• Availability to work varying shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to pass physical agility tests with no back limitations.
• Ability to lift moderate to heavy loads as needed.
• Completion of orientation and training before working on the extra board.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate transit buses in revenue service on established routes.
• Collect fares, verify passes and IDs.
• Provide passengers with route information and announcements.
• Report issues such as delays, outages and passenger concerns.
• Enforce company policies regulating passenger conduct.
• Operate equipment like wheelchair lifts and two-way radios.
