Job summary

The City of Greeley is hiring full-time CDL drivers to support the Greeley-Evans Transit program. You will operate buses, perform inspections, ensure passenger safety, and uphold all regulatory requirements while delivering excellent service to the community.

Training is provided to obtain a Class B CDL with passenger endorsement. The role offers competitive pay, career growth, and a supportive environment within a mission-driven city transportation team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• CDL Class B-P2 with Passenger and Air Brake Endorsements or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Able to pass DOT physical and participate in DOT/FTA drug testing programs.

Responsibilities

• Operate transit buses on designated routes, following schedules and prioritizing safety.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections per DOT/FTA and city policy.
• Provide high-quality customer service and ensure ADA compliance.
• Report incidents, hazards, and complete required documentation.
• Assist in route planning and scheduling and train other operators as needed.
