Responsibilities

• Operate bus on an assigned route and established schedule.
• Collect fares and sell bus passes.
• Prepare daily accounting report reflecting fares received and number and type of passengers.
• Record mileage and deposit cash receipts as directed.
• Provide assistance to passengers with route information and fares.
• Assist in routine maintenance of vehicles, including fueling and general maintenance.
• Coordinate routine servicing and repair of assigned vehicles.
• Maintain appearance of vehicles as required.
• Ensure daily safety and mechanical inspections are performed.
• Report problems to Transit Supervisor.
• Assist with fueling, cleaning, and maintenance when bus is inoperable.
