Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or related field required; Master's preferred.
• License: General Clinical Lab CLS (CDPH).
• MT/MLS (ASCP or equivalent) current.
• 5+ years clinical laboratory experience in transfusion medicine.
• In-depth knowledge of immunohematology, transfusion practices, blood product preparation/modification, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of a high-complexity transfusion service.
• Ensure CAP, AABB, FDA, and hospital regulatory compliance.
• Provide staff supervision, quality oversight, and regulatory readiness.
