Job Description: The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville (UF COM-J), seeks a full-time experienced Board-Certified Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist faculty member at the non-tenure accruing level of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor. Successful candidates must be fellowship trained in blood banking/transfusion medicine and have experience in surgical pathology. Major responsibilities include sign out of surgical pathology and clinical pathology cases and blood bank call, as the successful applicant will participate in resident education and research. Candidates should possess excellent teaching skills and have a strong interest and commitment to teaching. Candidates must possess an MD degree or equivalent and be qualified for an unrestricted physician license in Florida.
Minimum Requirements: Candidates must possess an MD degree or equivalent. Successful candidates must be Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology Board Certified, have completed a transfusion medicine fellowship and are board eligible or board certified in blood banking/transfusion medicine and have experience in surgical pathology.
