UNC Health is seeking a full-time Transfusion Medicine Pathologist at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The role supports a comprehensive transfusion service including donor collections, apheresis, cell processing, component preparation and compatibility testing.

The appointee may also engage in related pathology areas. Candidates must hold an MD/DO, be BC/BE in Transfusion Medicine, and have or be eligible for a NC medical license.

Qualificações

• MD/DO degree required.
• BC/BE in Transfusion Medicine.
• North Carolina medical license or eligibility.

Responsabilidades

• Lead/transfusion medicine service line including donor collections, therapeutic apheresis, and component testing.
• Collaborate with pathology and laboratory teams in translational efforts.
• Potential secondary interests in related pathology areas considered.
