Job summary

Remedy Staffing is seeking candidates for 2nd shift openings in Preble, NY at a transformer company. Positions include Buffer, Scrapper, and Disassembly with competitive pay and a steady schedule.

Pay is $22 per hour, Monday–Thursday, 4:30 PM–3:00 AM. Training on first shift (6:00 AM–4:30 PM) is available. Overtime, benefits, and potential permanent hire may follow for successful applicants.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in painting, scrapping, buffing, and/or assembly is required.
• Must be able to train on 1st shift (6:00 am – 4:30 pm).
• Excellent attendance and a good attitude are essential.

Responsibilities

• Ability to refurbish transformers
• Prepare parts and surfaces for buffing and painting
• Use brushes, rollers, and sprayers
• Use hand and power tools
• Disassemble transformer units and scrap metal insides
• Provide own tools like pry bar, screwdrivers, socket-sets, wrenches, etc.
