Job summary

Allied Personnel Services in Bethlehem, PA, is seeking Transformer Assemblers for long‑term opportunities on 1st or 2nd shift. Pay ranges from $18.00 to $19.00 per hour and includes on‑the‑job training.

As an assembler you will wrap insulation around coils, drive wedges, assemble support structures, fabricate coils and parts from blueprints, and stamp part numbers. A high school diploma or GED and basic reading and math skills are required, with at least three months of experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least three months' experience in assembly.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Wrap insulation around coil and secure with tape.
• Drive wedges between coil and core using a mallet.
• Assemble support structure, clamping angles, terminals, tanks, or cabinet panels.
• Fabricate coils and assemble component parts to build transformers according to blueprints.
• Clean and ink stamp part numbers/date code.
