Job summary

Thrive Therapies seeks a dedicated Special Education Teacher to design and deliver instruction for K–12 students with disabilities. You will manage IEP development, collaborate with related services, and communicate with families as a core member of the multidisciplinary team.

You will work within a supportive community environment, applying evidence-based approaches across academic, functional, and communication domains to meet individualized goals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Special Education from an accredited program.
• Active state SPED teaching license in good standing.
• Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development and case management.
• Experience with evidence-based instructional approaches for students with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as IEP case manager for assigned caseload and coordinate timelines.
• Develop measurable IEP goals aligned to standards and student participation.
• Write present levels, goals, accommodations and services with precision.
• Coordinate with SLPs, OTs, PTs, BCBAs, and psychologists to align services.
• Facilitate IEP meetings with families and school staff.
