The role offers a starting compensation package at $77,000 plus a $10,000 SPED hiring incentive, a $5,000 hard-to-fill stipend, and a $3,000 late hire bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas Special Education Certification, required.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with Core Content endorsements, preferred.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver instruction using methods and materials aligned with TEA guidelines.
• Prepare ARD/IEP documents and share with parents and staff.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curricula for SPED students.
• Provide inclusion supports as required by IEP caseload.
• Maintain documentation for Medicaid billing and district records.
• Establish professional relationships with parents, students, and staff.
