Illinois School District U-46 seeks a Secondary Teacher to deliver high-quality, culturally and linguistically responsive instruction for 184 days in a 10-month calendar. You will plan lessons aligned to grade-level standards and provide ongoing feedback to support growth and proficiency.

You’ll work in a collaborative, student-centered team, using data to inform instruction and participating in ongoing professional learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Appropriate Educator License (PEL, ELS-CTE) with required endorsement(s).
• Experience working with students in a school setting preferred.
• Demonstrate willingness to work in a collaborative, student-centered, results-driven team.
• Demonstrate knowledge of fundamentals of teaching and learning.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Professionalism by managing time effectively and engaging with stakeholders.
