Qualifications

• B.S., M.S., or D.P.T degree from accredited physical therapy school.
• Previous hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital standards and policies; supports cooperative team environment.
• Provides patient care assessment and treatment with comprehensive evaluations and realistic goals.
• Maintains accurate documentation including evaluations, progress notes, discharge notes, and ICD-10 codes.
• Meets departmental productivity standards and adjusts schedules to patient/department needs.
• Participates in process improvement to enhance quality and efficiency of services.
• Promotes professional development and shares clinical knowledge with staff and students.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians, and colleagues to ensure understanding and quality care.
• Delivers age- and developmentally appropriate patient care and updates knowledge on growth and aging.
