• Master's degree in supervision, educational administration, secondary or elementary school curriculum or closely related field.
• Five years of successful teaching experience; at least one year in MCPS.
• Three years of school-based leadership experience (assistant principal or central services instructional specialist).
• Certification/License: Maryland Administrator I or principal/supervisor credential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administering and supervising the total school program.
• Provide educational leadership for students and staff.
• Establish a climate conducive to learning and plan programs.
• Engage in decision making and change management.
