Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• Current, valid ADE Teaching Certificate in Elementary or Secondary.
• Arizona Department of Public Safety Fingerprint Card required.
• Background investigation, drug test, and possible medical exam.
• If driving is required, valid driver's license and relevant checks.

Responsibilities

• Teaches all subjects to students not achieving full academic standards, including Special Education as needed.
• Implements lesson plans and collaborates with classroom and Special Education teachers.
• Accesses student progress and develops an appropriate education plan.
• Maintains records, conducts monthly work evaluations, and tracks performance.
• Creates a positive learning environment with effective classroom management.
• Escort and supervise inmates in education facilities and ensure security.
• Participates in professional development and maintains required certifications.
