Job summary

Highmark Health in Wexford, PA is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Qualifications

• Active PA RN license or multi-state license via eNLC.
• Preferred certification in specialty area.
• CPR certification required.
• Act 34/33/73 background clearances may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan nursing care for surgical patients.
• Provide transformational leadership in a clinical practice setting.
• Delegate tasks based on patient needs and staff skills.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to evaluate clinical care.
• Promote patient safety initiatives and participate in quality improvement.
