Edmond Public Schools is seeking a Middle School Assistant Principal for two positions, site TBD, located in Edmond. The role reports to the Executive Director of Secondary Education and carries a 204-day contract with a monthly salary range of $74,562 to $87,720.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree with five years of classroom teaching and leadership experience. The position requires strong discipline, supervision, budget planning, and collaboration with families and community partners.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required; five years teaching experience preferred.
• Leadership experience at district/state level preferred.
• Valid teaching certificate and administrator certificate required.
• Ability to read, interpret and communicate complex information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Promotes middle school philosophy and goals.
• Assist in maintaining high standards of student conduct and discipline.
• Monitor attendance, conduct, health, and safety of students.
• Maintain positive relationships with students and families.
• Assist in supervision of staff and professional development.
• Plan and supervise emergency preparedness and school operations.
