Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in English or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Certification to teach in New York State.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience, urban/low-income area experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Internalize curriculum to prepare students for high school graduation and college success.
• Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction with data-informed differentiation.
• Build strong relationships with students and families and collaborate with colleagues.
• Lead advisories addressing social-emotional needs of scholars.
• Use formative and summative assessments to inform instruction.
