Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Responsible for a specific shift of a custody force.
• Conduct special investigations; resolve problems between incarcerated individuals.
• Supervise the performance of all assigned security staff; indirect supervision of other institutional staff.
• Conduct roll call and handle administrative paperwork.
• Supervise custody activities such as searches, tours, visitor and inmate escort, and serve as initial commander in emergencies.
