Job summary

Northern Trust in Chicago seeks a Manager of Transformation Performance and Finance to establish a unified view of investment, resource use, delivery performance and realized value across the Wealth Management transformation portfolio.

The role oversees finance analysts, partners with Finance, Strategic Planning, Procurement and Technology, and drives capital budgeting, forecasting and benefits tracking to deliver measurable client and organizational outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis
• At least 3 years of people-management or substantial team-leadership experience
• Proven experience managing capital and expense budgets, forecasts, and executive reporting
• Experience defining KPIs, managing benefits realization and integrating data for decision-making
• Strong analytical and data-management capability with spreadsheet and BI tools
• Experience in wealth management, banking, asset servicing or financial services preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, data analytics or related field; MBA/CPA/CFA preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead annual and multi-year financial planning for the Transformation Office and related budgets
• Coordinate inputs to strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting cycles
• Develop standardized KPI dictionaries, baselines and reporting for the portfolio
• Monitor adoption and realized benefits of transformation initiatives
• Provide data-driven recommendations and executive-level reporting
